The Easiest Gravy

Start by making the most amazing, flakiest buttermilk biscuits in the world. No judgement if you choose to use store-bought biscuits.  Been there, done that!

But if you want to go the extra mile, my cut and stack technique is super simple and practically guarantees...  mile high biscuits!

Give your biscuits a quick brush with milk or an egg wash and bake at 450F for about 18 minutes

Cook your sausage until all the pink is gone and it is crumbly

Sprinkle over with flour and cook for a couple of minutes

Add milk and stir, cooking until it comes to a simmer

Let the gravy thicken up a few more minutes and then add salt and pepper to taste

Remove your biscuits from the oven.  Marvel at how talented you are!


Split open your biscuits and spoon your gravy over nice and thick!
