all-purpose flour baking powder baking soda granulated sugar kosher salt unsalted butter strawberries buttermilk egg powdered sugar milk vanilla

Combine all of the dry ingredients and then add in cold butter

Cut the butter into the dry ingredients until pea sized or smaller.

Add diced strawberries into the mix and toss in the dry ingredients

Add buttermilk and mix into a shaggy dough.

Dump onto your counter and gather into a rough square.

Use a bench scraper to cut and stack your dough 3 times to build up flaky layers

Roll into a 1/2 inch thick rectangle and cut out your biscuits.

Brush with an egg wash and bake at 450°F for 18 to 20 minutes.
