all-purpose flour baking powder baking soda sugar salt butter cheddar buttermilk

You'll start your Cheddar Biscuits by cutting butter into the dry ingredients. I use a finger snapping motion to get the job done!

Add so much cheddar to the mix and toss to disperse evenly

Add your buttermilk and combine everything into a loose dough.

Dump the dough onto the counter and form into a rough square

Use my "cut and stack" technique to build layer upon flaky layer in your Cheddar Biscuits

Place each cut biscuit on its own little pile of even more cheddar cheese

Brush with an egg wash and bake at 450°F for 15 to 18 minutes

Allow to cool on the pan for 5 to 10 minutes to allow the cheese skirt to achieve  MAX CRISPINESS
