Like all my biscuit recipes, you start by whisking all of the dry ingredients

Use a finger snapping motion to work the butter into the flour and other dry ingredients

Mix in a generous amount of grated romano and freshly cracked black pepper

Add the buttermilk and mix into a shaggy dough

Gather the dough into a rough square

Cut the dough into 4 pieces and stack on top of each other. Press it all down and repeat 2 more times
