Start making your Homemade Yeast Donuts by adding all of your ingredients to the bowl of your stand mixer.

Mix until you have a smooth dough. Place in an oiled bowl and rise for 3 to 4 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator.

Roll out into a large circle or rectangle and cut out donuts and donut holes.

Place donuts on parchment paper squares and let rise for 45 minutes to an hour.

Heat oil to 350°F in a large dutch oven and fry donuts for 1 ½ minutes.

I use chopsticks to carefully flip my donuts over and cook another  1 ½ minutes.

Remove and coat with your favorite flavoring.  I love a classic sugar coated donut!

Enjoy your  delicious  Homemade Yeast Donuts!
