Homemade Mocha Frappuccino (Better Than Starbucks Copycat)


A rich, chocolatey blended coffee drink made with real coffee, milk, and ice. This Easy Mocha Frappuccino comes together in minutes and can be customized just like your favorite coffee shop version.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strong coffee or cold brew
  • 1 cup milk or milk alternative
  • ¼ cup chocolate syrup
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups ice

For topping

  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate syrup

Instructions

  • Add coffee, milk, chocolate syrup, cocoa powder, and salt to a blender.
  • Add ice.
  • Blend until smooth and thick. Use a long spoon or spatula to scrape down the sides to the bottom to dislodge any large iced chunks. Blend one more time.
  • Drizzle chocolate sauce inside a glass if desired.
  • Pour the Frappuccino into the glass.
  • Top with whipped cream and more chocolate sauce.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

Use strong coffee, cold brew, or 2 shots of espresso for the best flavor.

Adjust sweetness by adding more or less chocolate syrup. 

For a thicker drink, add a little more ice. 

For a thinner drink, add a splash of milk. 

Best served immediately after blending.
