- 1 cup coconut milk or milk of choice; dairy or plant-based
- 1 cup vanilla yogurt
- 2 cups frozen mango or fresh
- 2 tablespoons honey
Add your choice of milk to the jug of your blender. Add in your yogurt and drizzle in the honey, or whichever sweetener you choose.
Finally, drop in your frozen or fresh mangoes and blend on low for about 10 seconds to get things started.
Increase to high, or the smoothie setting, for about 30 seconds.
Use a long handled spoon or other utensil to get to the bottom and stir, cover again and then blend for another 30 seconds.
Pour into tall glasses. Top with a dollop of yogurt and some more pieces of mango, or toasted coconut, if you're really feeling tropical vibes.
Hint: For the best flavor and texture, serve your mango yogurt smoothie in a chilled glass or to-go thermos. Just pop it in the fridge or freezer for a few minutes before pouring to keep your smoothie cold and refreshing for longer!
Smoother texture: Sometimes commercially frozen mango is processed before it is fully ripe. To avoid this you can either freeze your own mango, use fresh mango, or add a tablespoon of heavy dairy cream or coconut cream. Blend it up and it will smooth out the texture.
Make ahead: Blend your smoothie and store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. You can also freeze it in portions and thaw when you're ready to enjoy. Just give it a good shake or a quick blend before drinking to refresh the texture!
