Hi. It's me. The anti-smoothie convert bringing you another smoothie that absolutely anyone would adore. These Banana and Peach Smoothies are my best smoothie yet! Made with oh so ripe bananas and fresh or frozen peaches, I added thick Greek yogurt and a splash of milk to make the creamiest, dreamiest peach smoothie ever!
Yeah, I was never a big smoothie gal, never caught me out at Jamba Juice, but this combination of flavors, along with a bit of vanilla, a drizzle of honey, and a pinch of cinnamon has me rethinking my whole anti-smoothie agenda. It's like a high protein peach milkshake and I'm here for it!

Ingredients & Substitutions
I use simple, basic ingredients in this easy peach smoothie recipe, and I'll tell you all about them and how you can change them around if you don't have everything.
- Banana - This is one of those times that I urge you to use the most ripe fresh banana you can find. The banana in the picture is a stunt banana. It is not ripe enough. It needs to be all over brown ripe. Then cut that banana up and put it into the freezer. You'll thank me later. (p.s. yellow or green banana = starchy weird smoothie mouth 😖)
- Peaches - I want you to find the most ripe peaches you can so we can taste all their natural sweetness. You don't need to peel them. We're using a high speed blender and it's going to pulverize everything. Not fresh peach, season? Frozen peaches have great peach flavor and will work wonderfully. Use 200 to 300 grams.
- Milk - I used whole milk, but please feel free to use whatever milk product you prefer in your creamy smoothie. Almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, whatever kind of milk you like. You can even use orange juice or pineapple juice - any fruit juice you prefer. Even water, but that's boring. We're not boring.
- Yogurt - If you want to use vanilla yogurt, that would be delightful. If you want to use a non-dairy yogurt, not a problem.
- Vanilla - I used vanilla extract, for even more flavor, but you could also use vanilla protein powder if you want to also add protein to your peach yogurt smoothie.
- Honey - I added a tablespoon to this batch for a touch of sweetness, but you might need up to 2 tablespoons. If you don't like honey, you can substitute with your favorite sweetener. You can use regular sugar, Stevia, maple syrup, monkfruit sweetener, or even agave. You can use whatever you like to use to make things sweet.
- Cinnamon - Just a pinch of ground cinnamon. It won't taste like a cinnamon smoothie or peach cobbler, but when I didn't use it, I noticed. If you don't have cinnamon, a pinch of cardamom, or even apple pie spice would do. Or skip it. I'm not in your kitchen.

Greek yogurt note: I personally prefer the creamy texture of Greek yogurt in my banana peach smoothie. It has a great tangy flavor and brings richness to so many of my recipes like my 2-Ingredient bagels and my favorite mixed berry muffins. If you don't have it you can use plain yogurt. You can even try adding a flavored yogurt like vanilla or peach to amp up the flavor.
Blenders
We aren't trying to blend anything too difficult here, so an affordable starter blender, like the Black and Decker blender I used to have, will work fine. I have since upgraded to a high-powered blender and I love how absolutely smooth my smoothie is, but you probably aren't as picky as me 🤪
You can also make an individual smoothie using a personal sized or portable blender. If you choose to do that you'll want to decrease this recipe into half or fourths, depending on its size, and make sure to break up your ingredients into smaller bits.
Instructions
I am probably breaking this creamy peach smoothie into too many steps, but to be honest the pictures were just so pretty and I wanted to show them off. Indulge me and then make a smoothie to say cheers!
Step 1: Add ice cubes, frozen banana, and peach chunks to your blender.
Step 2: Add milk and yogurt.
Step 3: Add your flavorings; vanilla, honey, and cinnamon.
Step 4: Blend on high, or the smoothie setting, for about 30 seconds. Use a long handled spoon or other utensil to get to the bottom and stir, then blend another 30 seconds.
Step 5: Pour into the cutest glass you have. Set the mood.
Step 6: Garnish with another dollop of yogurt (or whipped cream!) and peach slices.
Pop in a straw and enjoy your delicious Peach Banana Smoothie.

Freezing smoothie ingredients
Yes, do this! Gather all ingredients together—except for the yogurt and milk—and place them in a zip top bag. Yes, even the vanilla, honey, and cinnamon go into the bag. Label the bag and pop it into the freezer for up to 3 months.
When you want to make a delicious smoothie, dump the frozen fruit and flavorings straight into the blender, add the milk and yogurt (no need for ice) and blend into a delicious smoothie. Cheers!

Recipe FAQs
Smoothies are best consumed immediately after blending, but you can make it the night before and store in a resealable jar or mason jar. They can separate a bit, so in the morning give it a vigorous shake and then sip and enjoy!
You can make these in advance and store for up to a month in the freezer. Blend and transfer to lidded jars. Make sure to leave room at the top for expansion. Place in the freezer. If you want a smoothie in the morning, place a jar in the refrigerator to thaw and give it a good shake in the morning. If there are icy bits, that's even better in my book!
Fresh fruit just refuse to be a uniform size. I don't know if it's a union thing or what, but sometimes they have the nerve to be giant bananas or teensy peaches, and that can give you a thicker texture. If you go to take a sip and feel like it's too thick for you, just pour it back into the blender, add some more milk, and blend to your preferred consistency.
