French toast

French toast with a crunchy exterior, a creamy interior and a subtle hint of cinnamon is something that immediately evokes childhood memories for me. When I was a kid, Saturdays were for biscuits and gravy or pancakes, but Sundays were for French toast.

Milk, eggs, sugar, and bread and then you’re essentially frying that bread in butter, and who’s mad about that? Serve your French toast with caramelized peaches. Give it a Holiday vibe by making eggnog French toast. Or pretend you’re a little rich kid and make French toast sticks with brioche bread. And serve with with an iced French toast latte!
